This is MY Springy Toy!

While Hubby was at the hospital fracture clinic, my son and I went to the shopping centre to kill some time while we were waiting for him. We spent a lot of time in the pet shop. They had a few kittens that we just couldn't drag ourselves away from. Two little ginger tabbies that had one of those large plastic balls with the holes in it. Two tiny kittens, one normal tabby and the other black (who I nicknamed "Shredder") that had a llittle scratching post with a platform on top. The little tabby couldn't quite climb onto it. In the next enclosure where two beautiful Ragdoll kittens. All blue-eyed and white toes. So pretty. I was amused by one who had "Claimed" an odd looking springy mouse toy that he wasn't giving up for anyone else. At first I thought he was stuck in it, but looking closer I realised he was quite content. So much so that he was in fact, fast asleep. Until I took a picture of him..lol.

Sorry for the poor quality. I took it on my phone, in poor lighting, through glass.

Here is another pic I took of a kitty in a Ball

  2. @Sherilin, sadly no. I already have one massive kitty. I would love a Ragdoll one day though.

  3. It's so hard to resist those kitties in the pet stores! They are so cute and small and they just call out "take me home....you'll love me!"

  5. @Carole I know, I wanted to take all of them home. Maybe one day when I become a crazy cat lady I will....

  6. Haha, what a cool toy! I honestly thought that your cat had gotten stuck in something... or that you had photoshopped something over a cat, then I read. Good times.

  9. Did you have a crazy cat lady in your childhood neighbourhood? We had two, yes two!

One lived a couple of houses down from us. She was very old, a hermit, and had more cats than I could count. We loved her tho because on halloween she'd leave a big bowl of chocolate bars out on the front porch for us with a sign saying.... "Take only one please. I'm watching you!"

The second crazy cat lady lived across from my elementary school. She had a spooky overgrown yard with cats meowing day and night. We didn't ever get up the nerve to go there on halloween!

  11. @Poetess He is ok, Got his cast off, but has to wear this weird boot thing. His foot is healing but very slowly.

@Carole HAHA! Thats so funny... I don't recall any crazy cat ladies near where I lived over the years. If I had of found one, she'd never be able to get rid of me..lol

@Ant I know. It was so pretty, a really light ginger, almost pinky white.

  16. Like their behavior and their size, don't like that they're bred to Servals which are threatened or endangered.

There's nothing like rescuing a healthy mutt. :)

Watched the Vid, I can't believe that's a kitten, size of a full grown.

  17. I don't know much about them Ant, But I did think it was looking like a wild cat. Like in the ears and how big it was. I don't like that either.

@Cheeseboy it was, very hard to resist. Had to drag ourselves away...

  22. You could send that picture in the the "OMG Catz" sites and it be a real success! It's so cute, but so funny at the same time. How did he even get in the mouse toy?
