Just my little corner..
I think he's/she's a lovely meerkat. Aren't you clever to be able to get such an authentic likeness. I find meerkats enchanting.
@Elisabeth aww.. thank you so much :)
Very nice! I am impressed.
That is awesome. I would love to be able to draw like that. Hope you are feeling brighter soon
@Symdaddy thank you!@Mynx aww.. thanks! And I am feeling a bit better.
Sorry you aren't feeling well but I hope you're enjoying the meds. Nice drawing. These guys have always fascinated me.
Bird and Meerkat...beautiful! Pain....not pretty at all!! :-(
Your meerkat is adorable. Love his/her expression. Hope you feel better soon. xox
Absolute Meerkatitude. Like the drawing and the butcher bird, really good pic to draw from.I'm just saying:)How did you accomplish to hurt yourself after the move.Hope the pain goes away soon.
@Stephen thanks. Back is better, arm is not. We saw them at the Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo. Could have watched them for ages :)@Poetess Thank you!@Nubian I know, cute right! Thank you :)@Ant I was thinking it would be a good pic to draw from. I don't know how I've hurt my arm, it won't get better. As for my back, it occasionally goes on me. For no particular reason only to be ouchy and inconvenient. Behind the shoulder blade.
Nice job! I can't even draw a straight line. With a ruler.
I think you captured his personality very well.
@AL.. lol.. thanks Al@Dbs Thanks. I think I did to :)
You caught his eyes and stance perfectly! You should try sketching while on the meds and see what comes out! Hope you feel better soon. :)
@Carole.. thank you! LOL... Maybe, although I would most likely think it was fabulous and then see it when the meds wore off and think WTH?
Is the Butcher bird in the crow/magpie family? The beak looks very crowish.
@Carole I think so. There are also grey ones to.
I'd love to hear what you have to say :)
