This is a picture I took of Melbourne...
And THIS is how I see it through my left eye...
See why I am scared now? It feels like I am watching a 3D movie without the glasses, all funky and wrong. Makes me queasy as well.
But still... last night I drew THIS...
Nice hey? it's a zentangle pattern I was trying out for the first time called Purk..lol! and yep, I FINALLY have my scanner running.
Oh wow. I totally get it now. Feel for you.
ReplyDeleteThanks Dbs, I thought I'd experiment with photo shop and see if it turned out all right, I'd blog it to show you all.
ReplyDeleteI am with dbs. I get it now. My cousin has had great success with her Doc. Did you see the same one? I love your drawings.
ReplyDelete@Nubian I don't know if I saw the same Doctor, I don't know if she has the same thing as me.. to be honest they really didn't help me at all. At least I am getting treatment at my eye clinic now though, even though it appears to be not working.
ReplyDeleteYikes!...Yeah, that would scare me too! O_O Nice photos to show us how it is though.... :-(
ReplyDeleteI saw the first photo and thought "I have been there" and then continued on to the the second. You poor thing, it must be so terrible to be going through this especially with your amazing drawing talent. I really hope the docs can sort it for you. Hugs
ReplyDelete@poetess I know, I wanted to do something to show what I see/don't see.
ReplyDelete@Mynx thank you and I knew you would understand. All the things I love doing, my art, even reading, it's affected by this.
Oh yeah, well Purk you too! :)
ReplyDeleteVery cool drawing, btw--you're very talented! And so sorry about your left eye. I had no idea it was that bad.
Oh my gosh I didn't realize it was like this! No wonder you're scared! I hope the doctors can help you. Your drawing is beautiful. I love the shape of it. Take care.xo
ReplyDeletethat photo made me want to cry....I wish there was something I could do or say...I also hope the doctors can help you. Your art work is amazing...you are one strong lady xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteI've been off the blogosphere the past week -- what's wrong with your eye!?
ReplyDeleteI've had bad vision periodically through my life, but it always goes away ...
@David..it's a funny word hey? aww thank you.
ReplyDelete@Carole I know right? thank you, I really like it to.
@Caren aww..don't cry Caren.. I havent...yet :) and thank you!
@Josh, hey there, well I am loosing my sight, they don't know why, and I lost a lot more just recently. Unfortunately I won't be getting it back.
Wow, Melbourne looks nice.
ReplyDeleteThat photo made your vision problem incredibly real for me. The sadness I felt looking at that photo is comparable only to the inspiration I felt looking at your drawing. That drawing makes it clear that your mind's eye, at least, sees more than most.
ReplyDelete@Laoch It really is, we loved it when we were there. Intend to go again soon.
ReplyDelete@Nari Hi! welcome to my page, and thank you so very much for your kind comment. Yes, exactly..I may be going blind, but I can still SEE.
